Just tried riding a bike again!!!!
Used to ride mountain bikes a lot when I was about 19 and used to race them. Was at the mother in laws this afternoon and the lad next door has just got a BMX and was trying desperately to wheelie. As I was washing the car I trie to explain how to do it. He then asked if I could do it on his bike and being out of practice (as in VERY) I didn't want to damage his bike so pumped up the tyres on the missus Specialised Hard Rock and promptly took to the close.
Surprised how quickly it came back and I was doing endo turns, stoppies and rear wheel hops after about half an hour. Even managed to pull a few one handed wheelies. Felt really good but by God am I knackered now
Lad looked gobsmacked at an old fart pulling tricks on a mountain bike

I done something similar recently, i used to ride/race quite a bit myself but over the years have let it slip. With me being made redundant and going stir crazy i often rumage about in the garage and find things to do....so i got my old bike dusted off, threw some air in the tyres, oiled the chain and set away down the street like a man possesed....however unlike yourself i found my abilities didn't quite come flooding back. I proceeded to check the seat height, bar height, brakes lever angles as something must have been wrong as i was never this shit at riding. Then it hit me, this is what my dad looks like when he tries to ride a bike, lol.
