What was that in? The GT-R I assume? Looks like 100-200kph of around 4.3? That's insanely quick!

Best my BMW did was a 5.5-second 100-200 on E20 fuel but it was a manual.

100-200 kph 4.28 seconds on e50 928 hub hp, 4.8 on pump fuel 810 hub hp, 110 hp only reduced it by 0.5 seconds

I'm hoping I will be in the 3s with my new car on pump fuel, and in the 2s on e100, will be my first time ever with pure ethanol

Seems feasible, there are quite a few GT-Rs in the 2-second bracket now.

I've just checked there's 7 gtrs in the 1s 100-200 kph !

That is just unimaginable in my mind 62-124 mph in under 2 seconds, I think they must be over 2000 hp ones

I'm currently down in 63rd place with my 4.28 time lol

There are 11 GT-Rs on the 100-200 Draggy/Vbox group in the sub-3 second zone, so your list is a little outdated I guess?

The fastest car in the list in that site is a street legal Mustang that does a 1.1-second time. THAT is genuinely mind blowing.

As already said, the VBox I posted will do that. Do the run, view the time. Simple.

However...you do the run, park up. view time...ok. But if you stop and move off again, it will reset and you will lose whatever times have just happened. They will be recorded on the SD card though but you cannot review them on the device.

On my VBox Mini, I can set any speed difference, distance, accel, braking etc etc so you can do a wealth of tested and get immediate results on the device.
The VBox Performance meter Carl seems to have, the advert seems to list standard timings. ie 0-60, 0-100 etc....so not sure if you can set your own on his like say 30-130.

As for the VBox Sport....you can do whatever the app allows you to, and I've no clue what the apps are like or how good that setup is. But as it also logs to SD Card...again it's back to reviewing everything on a computer. Which ultimately allows you far more information anyway

That is shocking, any spec/pics/video as that's hard to believe (I don't doubt it)

I'd like to see some of these cars videos if they are available just so I can get an idea of what its like. I used to like the old bruntingthorpe video's on youtube.

This is the car that did a verified 1.1-second. It’s actually a Firebird clearly, not a Mustang but space-framed LSX twin-turbo drag car on methanol. It was on 315 radials though, which is impressive!

That will be a low 6-second car I reckon. There are faster street legal cars out there!

Tom Bailey just reset the world record at 5.77 seconds for a street legal car. Which is mental. It’s around 4000bhp though.

I guess it wouldn't likely fit in to my idea of street legal mate lol
That's something I'm interested in, if I could do an 8.99 say on r888s as that is true street spec, I don't think it's possible though it did 9.9 last time on r888s at totb

I've got 18" drag radials on the way m and h tyres road legal I guess but it's not gonna corner anywhere near as good with them on

I pulled a 10.7 at 144 mph in my other gtr with no launch, 12" rollout on my v box, just in drive mash the throttle everything in Mac 1 mode. But my old one is super responsive, I think the green one would be slower without a launch, will find out soon

I'm gonna do an overlay dyno of old gtr at hubs to new car at wheel should be close comparison

So I've done the overlay with my current gtr against new one coming, have lost about 1250 rpm in spool as a comparison but gained 398 hp, but on my current gtr turbos are flat out the power peaks at 928 hub hp at 7000 rpm and it holds that precisely and exactly to the 7500 rpm limiter
Whereas new car at 2.5 bar the turbos are still not flowing flat out yet

Gonna be alot lazier low down with no launch

dark blue my current gtr hub power race f 928 hp, 780 ft lbs
Brown line new car wheel power pump f 1082 hp, 853 lbft
Light blue wheel power race fuel 1326 hp, 991 lbft

It did the 5-second passes in full Drag Week spec after driving over 1,000 miles on the street, which is impressive.

Aside from a couple of small things it's about as street legal as you are going to get a car like that, but obviously that's the big debate!

It depends what you personally define as a street car. At the end of the day, it gets driven on the road and does as many miles as plenty of other street cars out there, which proves it is streetable.

It would pass as street legal in th UK pretty easily.

To me a street car is a car that can be driven hard and fast on the street including corners and that's where it fails monumentally

Awesome achievement I'm not knocking it but it's not even close to a street car for me

I'm getting abit long in the tooth now lol but the fastest proper streetcars always hold the most interest for me, I loved street racing when I was younger

Can you imagine rocking up in that and having a race through some back roads

A street car is something that can be driven anywhere, any weather, fuelled at any petrol station, and pass any roadside inspection. AND that street car, should have the floorpan/chassis of whatever car it is pretending to be

Drag week does operate in states where there are no inspections lol.

There's no doubt it is a very cool car, and a very very fast car, but in reality the whole street car thing is just a nonsense.

It's like Street Outlaws and their real street cars too, because they race on the street. ( which with the amount of rubber down on some of their streets may as well be a strip ) And they claim this because they have steel quarters and a roof. Like seriously ? A fucking full tube race chassis, with a couple of steel panels, and everything else carbon fibre. With pretty much no actual original chassis to even pretend it is a particular car

But if calling it a street car keeps them happy, then that's all that matters. Doesnt really matter what anyone else says.

My car identifies as a horse. And it's the fastest horse around.

It really is a bizarre world we live in, and it's also no wonder mental health is such a massive issue when so many encourage that exact behaviour and mindsets.
That sort of thing is driving mental illness and problems !

But Fuck it...who'll have the fastest streetcargiraffe after Brexit LOL

I'll have to ask my friend to do a 30-130mph time. He uploaded this video recently but has just uprated the turbos.

Audi coupe 20v quattro with the 20v 5 cylinder removed and a audi 4.0 v8tt engine fitted.

That's quick, anything in the 5s for 60-130mph is really nippy.

That has to be well over 700bhp?

I've just checked the stats for my gtr, 962 hp, 60-130 mph 5.02 second
At 5.6 for that Audi that is seriously fast, either massive power or lightweight car

I had a mess about with my vbox, and it has menus for everything even hp and torque

Literally just push the up and down buttons and it scrolls through precious, best etc and all increments in 10 mph gaps, plus 30-130 etc

I've never tried it before but it does actually show everything in car on the screen, only took about 6 years for me to realise lol

That's on the old turbo's its a full weight coupe quattro running a a6 tdi manual box so does 160 I think he said in 4th, reall long gearing.
I'll ask him the power as that's on the old turbos in the video from what I heard. He's done loads to the car, a6 box, bmw rear diff, uprated shafts etc.

I've never tried it before but it does actually show everything in car on the screen, only took about 6 years for me to realise lol
Strangely despite the cost differences....( ie. the Mini is near double the price !! ) the onboard power/torque bit is the only thing it doesnt do vs the cheaper boxes. Although via the VBox tools you can apply all sorts of formulae to generate graphs. Which I've never found much use lol.

Really though, the regular Vbox Performance meter or drift box if you need the yaw stuff ( nope ), is a superb tool ( or toy )
