Ive just bought a cheap 1.9 GTi pug as a winter runabout only thing wrong is the rear Suspension has totally siezed, ive been told that it easier to change the whole subframe rather than piss about, but i got told by two breakers that it has to be another 1.9gti subframe as the others arnt compatable, but two have said i can use any other subframe and just change the mounting pin in the radius arm and put the disks on??

Could someone with the knowhow please clear this up for me, also should i replace anything else whilst ive got the subframe off ie bushes etc....
