P.I Dampers?
need some help lad's i'v just dropped my mk5 esco 35mm on P.I springs and shocks the front are fine, but i'v now had both the rear damper rod's come loose from the top mount, resulting in a horrible knocking noise and basically the rear being held up with just the spring,
i had it happen once about a week ago, couldn't belive my eyes i thought i'd snapped the rod, untill i jacked it up and seen the rod was out of the top mount, i took it off and screwed it back together with some grip's on the rod to hold it tight, thought i best do the other side just incase i had loosened them in fitting witch i doubted but better safe than sorry so put them back on and all was well, i was out earlier just about to go for a country lane cruise and heard a knocking at the back again, and to my dis-belife it's happened on the otherside now.
any way to the point has any one else had this happen to them, or shall i be angry with r tech and get some replacement's sent out, because obviously if the spring was to jump out the seat it could be dangerous, and wot good is suspension that comes apart every 500 miles
