Ah .... i wondered where this had gone to! I was going to have a look at this car about six months ago. The cars reg is D800 KKE and it's been local to the Brands Hatch area for the last ten or twelve years ago. It was featured in Fast Ford circa 98/99 and a young lad who worked at the tuning store on the Brands Hatch road used to own it and had all the mods and work done according to the article and it was alledged to be putting out 420bhp? I was tempted to buy it as the bloke selling it in the local Freeads paper had owned it for the last four years but had done nothing with it and it had been standing at a stables but on remembering the car and researching the said article from Fast Ford it also said in there that the afforementioned young lad had managed to put it sideways into a ditch and it'd had both quarters and one side replaced so i though that i'd give it a wide birth with that in mind.
I take it someone bought it local to me as a coupla months ago one of the subcontractors i use (i work in road haulage) had seen it literally wrapped around a lamp post off a huge roundabout (ideal for hanging the back out if you know what i mean!) on the outskirts of Sittingbourne (the Bobbing Apple roundabout for anyone that knows the area?) but this is the first i'd heard of it since (i did scout the local breakers in the hope that it was an uninsured driver and it had been recovered to a local breakers in the hope it would appear for cheapo dollar!) but this has obviously not the case and it's gone through the insurance company and has been sold to the salvage company who are auctioning it.
There are some tasty bits ion it including the Speedline wheels, AP's and lots of goodies under the bay. A shame it's in that state through .... maybe i shoulda bought it after all !!!

Yeh they bought out century salvage up here, used to be spot on when it was a walk around auction. That fucking voice

you would be right if you think goodies go missing off cars at copart,i have seen the drivers near the one in chester pillfering the shit before it goes in, mind you if you know the right geezers stuff still goes missing,i always liked to check the car to make sure nothing had been robbed after i bid on it.

If that was the one from near brands it was crashed more than once. The guy at F1's near brands bent it just after its feature, and got it fixed then an old mate of mine Keith bought it. One night he let someone else drive him home from the pub in it and they lost it, and dragged the back of it through some hedge/fencing! Then i think the headgasket went so keith just left it next to his stables and that was the last i heard of it. Was a pretty brutal car when he had it, would hand my stage three saff it's arse! shame, but to be fair it did get abused ALOT! i'll try and find a pic from back in the day

The wheels are differant than the ones on Coparts site, if you say it used to have speedlines then they were speedline champions or compos, compo copied them and called them Mo and then not long after changed them for the other mo which is now known as old Mo. Got it ??

pretty sure it is chops, just by the fact everything you can see is identical, down to the colour of the bells and calipers, including the splitter, and the fact its starts with D800 aswell as the blacked out windows.

i went on but i'm sorry with 3 lanes and the fookin queer yank saying " SOLD ON APPROOVAL" and Selling all the way now..... constantly i watched loose women instead
its hard when your only after 1 or two things and you have to endure the vb2, my mate leaves a good preliminary bid and leaves it at that, you win it or you don't.

its crap how it doesn't tell you what the finalbid was
the worst thing down there is relying on the pics, you never ever see underneath shots,i know cos i had a car that went down a flight of steps, looked great until you put your head under it and it was mushed

i was gonna say the same. & they arn't ap's on the front. they are 330mm (maybe 325mm) disks with bells useing standard calipers painted red. it's amazing the pointless shit i can remember, shame i cant remember anything impotant
