Default rear brakes..

if I have the old style AP 4 pots on the rear with a 315mm disc and I wanted to change to a 330mm grooved disc that was originally from my front tarox brakes..is it a simple thing to do or do I need new caliper brackets etc?

Cheers

If this is on a 2wd, you will need a bias adjuster, as 2wd cars of any description don't like lots of braking at the rear. You can get away with it more on a 4x4 due to the transmission linking everything, which help prevents the wheels locking up.

I personally wouldn't recommend anything other than just the 4x4 calliper with 300mmx22mm big disc conversion.

To do what you want will require new bells, brackets and bias valve (which will remove a lot of the braking from the rear to keep it pointing in a straight line, which makes the fitting of the 4-pot callipers superfluous).

If the disc thickness and bell PCD is the same just make a 7.5mm spacer for the brackets and use longer bolts.

Im assuming they are already on there in 315mm
