Default transit wheels

does anyone know if the new st wheels fit the mk5 transits
or know which other alloy fits.

You mean the Transit SportVan, no they wont fit. 2000 on Transit use 14mm studs and are hub centric, pre-2000 use 12mm studs and are stud centric.

was a bloke on flea bay selling `wobbly bolts` that meant you could fit landrover alloys,whether you would trust em is another issue

get some tourneo ones they are for sale every now and then

Be very careful when putting alloys on a transit, alot of wheels are not up to the job due to the weight of the van.

good point,thats why i took the alloys off my cossie transit and stuck steelies on,that and wanted more of a sleeper look also dont think the tyres were up to it either

just thought have one of the wheels as a spare that ford gave me when i got it cos delivery driver buggered it,will take a look at its et and anything else on it so from that and the info about ya mk5 offset etc you should have enuf info

Even with adaptors it's not easy, you'll end up with the wheels sticking out past the arches. As said above you need wheels that are rated for the weight of the van, adaptors wont be rated.

There are plenty of options out there that have the correct fitment and are rated for the weight. In fact I have this set for sale.

its only transit 100,so it cant carry much anyhow

right mate

rear adapter 33mm thick

front adapter 22mm thick

pcd 160,et 50 on sportvan wheel

tyre size 235/45/18

hope this helps you if you go for sportvan rims,tho easy option is rims for sale above
