heard a whisper of an RS500 stored in a barn today!
no pics tho before you ask
Was in harrogate today picking up a part for my 100E, the bloke I met had just sold a lotus cortina and on talking to him on the subject of them he mentioned he had recently visited a farmhouse in a sort of old quarry very close to harrogate (I know the name but I am not saying on a public forum for obvious reasons) while has was there the owner showed him his lotus cortina that was stored in a barn and had been for a couple of years, next to it was a white rs500 that was also surrounded by boxes of car parts, he was told it had not moved for 6 years!
the guy I was talking to into his fords so I have no reason to doubt that it wasn't just a 3 door and was the real thing!
I will find one one day maybe even this one lol

This is my mates car it was on the road for one day last year and befor that it sat there for about 6 years .LOOK AT THE CLOCKS
And these photos are of the day it was on the road and he came to my house in it .
O and to ad salt to it at one time he had all 3 coulers and they were all RS 500

but why sell it if its in the barn you can still say you own one just to pi** someone off
like the person who said he owns 364 but was told (i still owen it a month back !) to many dream and dont have or get plus everyone has a price but dont think i would sell as i like the comment is it real there rare !!

btw, in case peole don't know, he brought it to pub meets etc and all sorts for a long time and it was a daily driver

I'm from Starbeck fella.
Have you seen that moonstone 3dr about, I've seen it twice in two days and it looks tidy. I'm sure I've seen it before up your way on the bypass.
The quarry location is top secret at the minute, so secret in fact no fooker knows where it is.

That's right up Knaresborough road, opposite the council estate. If you keep going down past Tesco Express and over the railway crossing KFC's on your right in the row of shops. There's a Subway right next to Tesco too.

Mmmm the Prince and the Henry. I've never been to either.
I used to go to the Rowan Tree opposite Hookstone Chase Primary but don't tend to bother these days.

It know it was called the 'hop n scotch' years ago, that's all I can remember. I'm 29 btw, I take it you're a bit older.
