Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was my first love, I used to love that car
I know it was a lot of years ago but jesus how could someone do that to that car!!! It's what started my love affair with the Mk1's
I'm absolutely gutted now, seriously I am
I always thought I'd see it again just like RUD 1T OMG I can't believe that happened to that car.
I'm properly upset. How long ago did that happen? BTW thank you for posting the pics

this pic was taken in 1994.............must of gone not long after that.
was told it was stolen off the forcourt while the owner was in paying for fuel.
rumour has it is currently being rebuilt/restored , so you may see it back out and about soon.
cheers.

I remember walking round concourse years and years ago seeing this car and thinking I'll have one of those one day. I never dreamed that someone all these year since would even know the car I was on about, it wasn't that famous a car not like RUD 1T and to be honest I doubt anyone else will remember it but that car is the sole reason why I love MK1's
Thank you so much for posting those pics for me. I was going to ask my bruv for the ones that he has and copy them off the scanner but now I don't need to.
Seriously you've made my year

RUD 1T was the car that was used in the advert for the Mk5 (I think) RS2000 it was the Mk2 that was in the advert.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

that was the one that i was going on about RUD 1T. that red mk1 is soooo nice i think that is a brilliant colour for the mk1 even tho i prefer blue

At the time it was owned by an accountant and had the private plate AUD1T but Ford modded' the numberplate for the advert to RUD1T...

Yes exactly true.
I remember having a pissed up conversation with Graeme John (RSOC) president and he said it was owned by an auditor who changed the number plate to that!!
Only reason it's relevant to me is I'm an accountant and I remember the add.
It's funny how you remember stuff. most lads think that lasses know jack shit but we're actually really into our cars
I mean who else would have remembered SHE from YEARS ago

I never guessed from this thread it would come out!
My true love SHE from all those years ago
Who would have thought I'd start a thread about her only to have her turn up!!!!!!!!!
