Default Best Petrolhead movie(s)

Following on from the movie you can watch over and over thread.......

Just interested in what peoples favourite petrolhead movie(s) is/are, stuff like Bullitt for the chase, Gone in 60 Seconds for Eleanor etc.......

Sort of a must see list for petrolheads, film might not be any cop but its just worth watching as its full of nice cars or for a particular stunt .

Bikes or cars, it doesn't matter.

I'd say:
Ronin for the chases in real time
Bullitt for obvious reasons
Silver Dream Racer - Retro
Italian Job - why else but red, white and blue mini's?
Days of Thunder - loads of reasons but mainly for the rental car race.
Shaker Run - Aussie muscle cars
The Driver - car park scene
Bad Boys - cobra vs 911
T2 - truck chasing the bike
Back to the Future - Delorean
Mad Max - The night rider chase

Perhaps a bit random but.....
Iron Eagle - plane vs bike
American Graffiti - just some cool hot rods
Boyz n the Hood - love the beetle
Taxi - the messing about on scooters and the 406

And the obscure.....
The Wraith(?)
The Cars that Ate Paris
The Gladiator

The ones i can remember off hand

anyone got anymore?

Good additions - Convoy, Cannonball Run and Smokey.

Initial D- drift racer- superb film with the battles being real driving !?!?!
Mad max- really dragged you in, I could watch it again and again,
Ronin- some decent driving scenes in that too
Dukes of hazard- for the side ways yank tank,
FandF Tokyo drift- for the driving and some of the car styling, story was pap and reminded me of a take on Initial D,
Bullitt chase scene- Iconic car LOVE it
and some of the above too.

But you have to see Initial D- drift racer. Its superb and features some of the earliest drift cars that are still popular today- AE86, skyline 32GTR, Rx7 etc

Just ordered it on Ebay

Might be a dodgy copy from VHS but it's worth a go.

Must have been the out and out japanese one. The uk subtitled one is much better because "fuel" did a fantastic soundtrack for it!

made it much more moody and deep than the typical jap-pop-lsd music.
