I'll be completely honest and say that i wouldn't take your car to Karl, unless you have deep pockets!! especially if your still driving those base model escorts you seem to love!
The reason i say this is that Karl doesn't like cars leaving the workshop til they are spot on, which can be a very expensive thing to do to a car that's had conversion work done! (just ask Stu.H lol).
He will not bullshit and if you do insist he does the work and you have the cash to cover any eventuality then IMO you won't deal with a better company
but if you turn up with a car that is in a bad way, prepare to be either turned away or given a big list!!
ps i don't actually know what you drive, i'm just going by what i've seen previously.

Karl will give your car a going over, and tell you what is wrong with it. I imagine Jamsport will just set your car up and send you on your way.
My mates Nova went there and the car has run faultless ever since. Everybody else round here who has built a decent LET has either melted it or never seen full potential from it.

I would/Will always use Karl when i can as i have always done......
He is very "to the point"..........Sometimes i used to dread ringing him when he had my car as i knew he would tell me straight if it was fucked........Best way though imho

Right, lets have some details.
Im guessing, its a LET engine is it?
Apologies I didnt realise the corsa mentioned was modified
In which case, what you want ideally then, is an adjustable regulator off a 2wd cossie, and a known chipset if you dont have one already.
Id personally recomed the evo 5 chipset.

I'd personally get Tech2 plugged into it, see if its got any stored trouble codes and take it from there.
Bonus_boy - you said its Overfueling, is it playing up or just a thirsty little beast?

it aint a let mate, quite abit from it in all fairness..
its a 1.4 16v
power box inlet manifold
slight head work (so im told)
cams
4-2-1 manifold + exhaust
panel filter
so it doesnt really need the boost valve to fuel more, as ive been told by alot of vauxhall people, that the standard fuel regulator will easily fuel it..
its been took to a shite 'tuner' not that long ago by the previous owner where they set the fuel pressure to 4.5 bar (Standard being 3 bar on these, i no its high but quite a few people have said this) which im guessing as made the injectors to leak/fail, causing the plugs to go black and not spark properly, causing it to stink of fuel and use alot of it..
so the plan is to get a standard fuel regulator, get my injectors sent off to be tested, cleaned and rebuilt, and get some new plugs, then take it to NMS..

Oh, by "boost value" you didnt mean a manual boost controller, you meant a power boost valve.
Throw that in the bin, and put a standard regulator on it and give it a service, there is NOTHING required on your engine IMHO that needs an expensive tuner to do it.
