I had a cheap titan grinder at £25 it lasted 2 minutes.

I've now got a dewalt grinder it cost £50 and it hasn't let me down yet. And don't think it will for a good while yet.

I recon bye a decent one rather than having to keep going to the shops

ive had 2 BnQ own brand 4.5inch grinders, the first one lasted well over a year, and it took a hammering, the second only lasted a few months so i bought a black n Decker from machine mart for £35, had it for about a year and its done plenty of work, i regularly leave it in the back of the pickup in the rain, and it makes no difference.

I have had my BOSCH 4 1/2" over ten years now, and it's seen some serious abuse, just stopped on a few ocassions, but after cooling off fine again.
Perfect for car metal, just don't do any SS, as it kills the discs, but the proper SS cutting discs are cheap and last ages anyway.
