Default quick question yes or no peeps ,

when doing flocking - as in covering dashboards ,parts in fibers ,

am i correct in saying the only way it can be applied correctly is through an electrostatically charged gun ,

as in the fibers need to be charged when applied ,

you cannot sprinkle the fibers and blow off the excess ,

just a mate was looking into a kit , but it dont come with the applicating gun ,

anyone clear this up quickly ?

I have tried one of those kits, although they do look good just after its done, in no time at all it will wear away and look pretty rubbish, as its hard to get the fibres to stick into the glue. Deffo get a pro job done!!
