What about an open pit late track day at the ring john,there'd be a lot up for that i think. And full finish straight for top speed too

 

ranger the ring is a very agreesive track,, and a long walk home should you bin it

not that im scared of the ring since i span there or anything pmsl

 

I'd love to do a track day open pit there all day i think it would be awesome,especially trying the car flat out down the dottinger straight

 

with the last time i would have thought you would be more scared to do a full track day at the ring,,,, what was wrong with the gt2 in the end stranger ?

 

The timing chain tensioner failed on bank 2 of the engine so the chain jumped and went slack then chewed itself up and snapped.Meant a complete engine strip down,bent 4 valves and did some other damage,i've sorted it all now though.I'm not scared of using it on track thats why i've got it,wouldn't have it to just polish and drive on sundays it belongs on track

 

show off,,,,i would just it just to stand beside and tell people its mine,,, wearing porsche jacket, cap and sunglasses,,,id even have a photo of it in my wallet pmsl

its that a comon fault on a porsche then ( as if i think ill even be able to even arrange a test drive in one)

the valves cant have been helped with all that turning it over ( and flame grilling JC's hand pmsl )

 

It's not really common but also not unheard of so just one of them things really nothing you can do.Very funny flame grilling jc's hand with the flame out the exhaust,although he wasn't to impressed at the time

 

its done a few miles at the ring Neil, loads left in it too.

 

i was gonna call him fireworks night to see how he was,,, but not even i could be that cheeky pmsl

dave imsure the MK2 will have a few miles of the ring,,, well i bloody hope so as you never took me out in the escos pmsl

 

i'm sure it will.

would not fancy driving it over though, trailered over i think.

i think Ł100 a driver is a bit steep, normal trackdays are around Ł20 extra for each driver after the main one.

the only way to ensure that people dont sign on as second driver and go out in there own car rather than the one they signed on with making there track day Ł20
each driver can bring multipul cars to compensate
no were youre coming from but need to cover my self

i will look in to some way sorting out second drivers cheaper rates but that would stop multipul cars
if you have two cars and i charged Ł100 per car then that isent fair either
