dont know about a get you home bodge on those...if one of the airbags is burst i dont think theres much you can do, sorry i think you are about 140 miles from me where you are, i cant think of anyone you could call

if its a p38 rangerover best converting it to coils...although i know this doesnt help you just now

if i can think of anyone you could call i,ll post up again

Gonna save the fuel and get recovery, Good old RAC.
Dont think bag has burst as it went up but was very slow and now its just not bothering, maybe pump or a leak in a pipe. Will get it back then Coil spring it. Happy new year!! haha

Don't coil spring it, or you may as well just be driving a disco, if it turns out to be the pump there are repair kits you can get to rebuild them, you'll find loads of help on http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/ If your a p38 owner you'll need it, i'm on there once a week with probs but not giving up p38 ownership for anyting else, even tho everyone on here said don't but it when i was looking at one.

Sumtimes can be the little rods on the back that go to the height sensors. Had one in at work an couldn't understand it. Ended up being one of the pins in the little rods had rusted away meaning it would only lift about 1cm.

Steve24v , im sure danny would rather be sitting on coils than air just now and he wouldnt be stranded hundreds of miles from home

I had this problem with mine when i had it.........Used to drop and not go back up.....

This was along with
Airbags lights on all the time
Doors jamming and not opening
Engine blew up 5 weeks after buying it
Would turn over for a good 20 seconds.....cold start problem
Boot now opening....

Luckly i bought it from a dealer and everything was cover on the warrenty....... But for a 17k car at the time it was shit.....Worse car i ever bought

Kept it for 10 months and old it for 10'5k......... took a kicking but just wanted rid.

I must admit i have looked at them now they are 5k ish...........but i still dont think they are worth the hassle

Fuck the air bags off

I've got coil springs on Range Rover due to hating how it wallowed about not because it went wrong its firmer but it feels much better to drive at speed and less to go wrong.

PM me if you want the link of kit I fitted as it disables the EAS computer too so it doesn't come up as a fault when you turn the car on and off unless you know a dealer that will turn it off.
