looks like no brakes on the grass then speeds up. i don't know can you blame him ?? at the end of the day you pay your money and take your chance shit happens. looked like he turned in to early and went on the grass then fooked up. shame as he looked to be going well as well as the other evo. at the end of the day he made a mistake costly granted but no one was hurt only pride and cars so can't see why he should be banned. folk like simon norris and martoon off here are the target for all trackday hoons lol they get plenty folk chase them round and it makes for a good day not only for the folk chassing but the spectaters as well. let him be i say the folk spectating no fook all and coment noing nothing about the situation he was in at the time. well thats my views like it or not

ye ok weve established his brakes failed buta good driver would have dealed with it.
Karl Norris does seem to crash alot. Without trying to be negative as i've nothing against him, or his company or evo's or whatever else he does, but i think his gung-ho attitude is because he knows he has the money and/or facilities to replace his cars if he stacks them?
Fair play to him though, seems to be pretty succesful in life.

Thought maybe ill post,
Ok lets see, F1 crashers from drivers Rallydriving Crashers, Any motorsport that you watch will always have a crash init, thats not beacuse they can't drive its because its hard and so is racing on a track with other cars, Topgear 24hour Racing Crash. It happends, sorry but if you dont like being hit, dont enter but if you do and you end up in a crash dont moan its the way of sport.
and yes if you have ever done a track day its been said in the meeting that if you crash your car then you are to get out your car and stand away behind the track...
F1 when they crash you see them move off the track, just like when you crash on a motorway or brake down you are ment to move away and stand in a safe place.
commen sence.
see here prove how hard track racing can be when ur being pushed to your limits

Simon's a pretty competant driver in my opinion, that accident was so blatantly brake fade, you can see him pressing the pedal and nothing happening, what on earth could anyone have done differently at that point?

What a load of bollocks, if you went on youtube and looked only at ayrton senna's crash videos you would decide from that totally loaded footage he couldnt drive as well I guess?

He got out the car and over the barrier for his own safety! Not to fuck off and not talk to the other driver. Just because a 5min video clip doesnt show him appologising to the other driver doesn't mean he never done so...

Even on normal trackdays, thats the main thing they say, if you bin it, get out and get over the barrier asap, THEY sort the rest out. Even more so under racing conditions where they cars are coming past at slightly reduced speeds (under waved yellows possibly?)

Treated one of my mates like a complete cunt a couple of years back. And someone else I was speaking to took his pulsar in for some work, came out with no headlights working. Norris's reply was 'dont drive it in the dark then' and pretty much fucked him off.
His old workshop was just up the road from me, and although i have never met the bloke, general concensus is that he is a complete cunt.

yea i agree with alot of ppl here i like to push my car's n bikes n tbh it is all about finding limit's gettin used to loosin traction n dealling with it, that's wot makes a good driver not someone that's neva crashed in there life time, well except if they'r just stupid n crash for doing stupid thing's at stupid speed's, cos that means they'v neva seen there limit n if it ever came to bein pushed to it it'd make them useless cos they'd prob's just get scared and plant there foot on the gas lol,
i used to lock the front wheel on my bikes on purpose just to get used to it cos at first u eat the seat with your arse but when i got used to it n u can sorta slow thing's down as it happen's n save yourself from gettin into trouble, n admitted i did when i was bein abit stupid on public roads had abit of a sticky situation n made the desicion half way through crashin into the back of some cars that it'd be best to drop it so did n saved alot of heart ache n pain well physicall one n e way if i'd taken pic's u'd be amaized that i wasn't hurt i turned my CBR6 into a unicycle#
n that's why ppl get jealous cos they wish they could be like us n have the ball's to push themselves like we do

And risk being run over by another car possibly?

On most trackdays (if not all) its an accepted rule that if you bin it, tough, likewise if someone clatters into you, its tough again. The argument is, NO-one should be driving like a dick to that extent, and if they are, they should be thrown off before something happens.
Ive only ever seen a couple of knocks on trackdays and its been put down to one of those things.

In "theory" you should never be that close to someone on a trackday, so it "should" never happen, however, mistakes and errors can be made and at reasonable speeds they can turn into collisions.

I witnessed the crash (yea look at me everyone) and it was pure brake failure. He tried pumping the pedal but it did nothing so he took to the grass to try and wash off some speed, an act that was commened by the stewards even though it did damage the other car. After the accident Norris apologised straight away and helped Prebble rebuild his car, which has gone on to win races again.
Heres my pics of the aftermarth.
But regarding the comments, you do get alot of idiots on youtube, mainly from little boys that are still playing with their toys and havnt actually driven a car.
