well the cossie is dead :(
well guys the mint cossie is dead 
.. had a bad crash on friday night, rolled the car and it went up in flames .. i was driving kinda slow as i was talking to the missus and out of no where a white ford v8 came up behind me and tailgated me for a while, he then proceeded to overtake me and then slammed his brakes on 
so i swerved into the right lane to avoid the car that braked, but as it was a hill i didn't see an oncoming car till it was to late, so i then rapidly swerved back to the left lane, and then the car rolled a few times.. i ended up in the back of the car, there was a fire under the bonnet already so i had to kick open the front drivers door and run around to get the missus out, and then when i looked back it was to late to go back and try as the whole car had gone up
il let the pics do the rest of the talking..

the worst thing is that my engine, gearbox, diff, wheels and exhaust had arrived in Melbourne a couple days ago

yhep thats mine mate.. fel gutted but im over the moon we escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.. il sort the pics out, but beware its a hurtful sight.

Really really sorry to hear that especially as it won't be easy to replace I'm guessing the other driver didn't stop after causing the accident

Those photos are sickening I'm so gutted for you especially because you took the car over there and how rare they are and how hard they are to come by. I'm glad you are both ok & I hope you can find a replacement.

well at the moment im looking at a evo because i know its going to be near impossible to find one that will match my old one..so i think its best if i look at a evo or the likes and then get another cossy later down the line, iv got all the engine etc just need the car now

glad your ok mate it looks a lot of damage for less than 40 mph what did you hit. trees scare the fook out of me here pal they are only just off the road and kill so many folk out this way. two deaths in a week up here and both into trees at the side of the road both only young to 19 and 18 poor fookers. anyway good to hear you are well and not to injured by this thank fook. i hope you have a better start to 2009 than the end of 2008
