Whats the good sites for buying stuff from these days?

I been looking on Merlin, ChainReaction and The Wooley Hat Shop.

Just started to get back into riding after a good 10 years off. My fitness is still not too bad but my legs just dont want to work after a few miles
Done a few woods rides the past week and loved it but my god Im knackered.

Just ordered myself a new XT crankset, gearset, cassette, chain and some tyres from Merlin.
Forks are a must for the next upgrade, Im riding with RockShox Tora at the minute and they are too soft for a larger gentleman like myself and Im not keen on the adjustable travel on them as i know a few who have had them fuck up. Something with 100mm travel, pretty firm and not too expensive, as Im not hardcore riding at the minute with just starting again, would be ideal. Suggestions welcome

Went to go out earlier and had a flat tyre so decided to put new tubes in as they had both been repaired a few times. Nipped over to Halfords and got their self sealing tubes with schraeder valves for Ł8 each to give them a try. Goin out in a minute for a bit local road work.

Off up to Hamsterly Forest tomorrow methinks.

Should have said too - I've got Reba's on the hardtail, and think they're good for what you pay for them...
No, they're not as nice as my Fox 36's, but they are about a third of the price!

Im carrying 18 and a half stone mate anyway so a bit of sealent wont kill me too much

Ive not been massivly struck on the Reba's for some reason.
Was looking at a set of Maguras but cant remember which ones or where I saw them

My mate has Fox forks on his Giant Anthem 2 and it rides lovely, although Im not a fan of full boing bikes.

What forums are there then???

Not to mention there a scam. All they seem to do is show you where the puncture is. The residue inside isn't thick enough to hold most punctures, so just aids a messy change.

The self sealy tubes worked today, after a fast hard downhill blast my rear tyre went soft so just pumped more air in and hoped for the best. Fortunately it stayed up.

Biggest downside today was after about 16 miles being waaaay up in the middle of nowhere it was absolutely fucking freezing, beginning to get dark, my water bottle had frozen bits in it, I couldnt physically pedal up any more hills and I was totally and utterly knackered, it then stopped being fun. The following few miles back to the car park of pretty fluent downhill/fast road riding was total torture, being so cold I could cry, couldnt see for tears from the wind and legs that didnt want to move. I have never been so happy to see my car
