New laptop time!
Hi all
My current Dell lapotp is on its way out. Had it from new with windows 2000, its on xp now and although it has not gone wrong once, these days it really cant keep up and the charger is a bit tempramental!
May as well have another dell, but haven't got a clue where to start looking! I only really use it for the internet, i use my pc for other resource heavy stuff.
So, I'm looking for something that is good for pic heavy websites, built in wireless, not bothered about a huge hard drive, but would like a decent battery life, and must be reasonably priced, i am not interested in paying money for pricey gimmicks i will never use. any ideas what would suit me?
Thanks
Rich

Id have a look here, awesome site/service from them in the past http://www.ebuyer.com/store/Computers/cat/Laptops
Have a look at the ones in your price range and then you can see if they have any customer reviews.
You will be wanting a core 2 duo processor and 2gbs of ram, that will be nice and fast, plus id try install xp on it yourself if it doesnt come with it installed, as if your after speed/ease then xp is the way to go in my opinion, i still use it on my desktop

Ok cool cheers. I do quite like vista, but as the laptop is only for looking at pictures of half naked girls while sat in front of the telly during the adverts, then its a bit pointless! I'll have a look
