Default yb turbo oil feed

have read a few threads lately about oil pressure on the later cosworths, and a few people have said that the 2wd turbo oil feed is better/ is this so and if so is it a worthwhile mod on a small turbo escos, if goin' for about 350>380bhp

2wd feed comes right round over the engine, no?

And the 4x4 one is right by the turbo?

So 2wd comes from the oil pump directly or something, and the 4wd is straight from the head - in that case fitting a 2wd one would increse oil pressure in the head, correct?

Neil.

the 4x4 one starves the cam and lifters of oil as it feeds from the same gallery that is why most 4x4's sound very tappety

so what parts are needed for this conversion then i assume its not just the 2wd oil pipe, or is it (obviously i know you would need to block the original feed hole from head)
