Terry Davies has the fastest 1/4 and top speed of one in this country I believe.

10 flat 1/4 and 180mph is getting on with it

Kevs is mega fast and stupidly clean, its hard to believe that he even uses it when you ever see it at a show

Baileys one was possibly the fastest track Mk2 about, I'd say Craig Rainers is currently the fastest whilst Dingy talks about his being the quickest (although its not slow)

Its typical I can't find the FF mag with the thrash that has dingys Mk2 in, I'm sure its done either 167 or 176mph, Not shy in a Mk2 either way


Can't remember the other figures, But I been on the car also, and it is rapid.

Don't get me wrong it IS fast, infact very fast, however its far from the quickest out there.

I think it did to 170mph+ but it has got 550+hp so I'm not suprised about that, its accelerations times weren't great as he doesn't have it setup for that.

Personally I think its too much for track use, he's even admitted it was faster on a T34, not much point having that power if you can't use it which judging on the times I've seen him on track it clearly has WAY too much power or just the wrong geometry setup.

Either way its a very cool car, just not the fastest which was the queston asked originally

Have you seen the ones in retro ford mag--fast who knows, but really spectacular condition--------i bought a new one in the 70's (rs 2 droop)
from hooleys in nottingham(not there now!!!) still look nice to this day-
none of this modern day electronics-people used to get there hands dirty in them days-not now is all pay to get things done!!
No-one has any brains to have a go anymore(well not many lol.

Dingys car is one of the fastest out there but he just needs it setting up for 1/4 mile and 0-60 style driving,then he could get some awesome times.

Terry cars is about as fast as they go...

If I remember correctly Mr Norris said he had done a high 9 this year, but we're talking like.. 9.98 - but its still a 9... at Avon Park I think.

I've seen it do 10's on "road tyres" but he usually uses drag radials I believe... but then so what... drag racing aint about who gets the slowest 60ft and the most tyre smoke and wheel spin, is it?
