im a engineer by trade, but sadly as there is not much call for it on the isle of wight i now build 40 meter wind turbin blades., soon to be 49 meters, and in the next few years 60 meters

network administrator and all round IT guy for a large haulage firm down here. 6 sites all over the Eastern seaboard which keeps me busy. Also run an electronics business on the side so if you want anything, fire away.

Engine builder at Dunton Research centre, we build engines ready to go our dyno's for testing, they are used for whatever testing is needed then most of the time we have to tear them down and re measure components, there is loads of measuring on the build up including valve stem diameters every 10mm along, valve head diameters, compression ratios, valve decay, deck heights, crank throw, rod length and head gasket thickness to gain the correct compression ratios, gudgeon pin diamteters, cylinder bores, gudgeon pin bores, cam bores, big and small end bores etc etc, i love it, plenty of time for home work too and all the machinery, tools, you'd ever need
