The duckams 3dr sierra cosworth advert car and a 2 stroke mk3 fiesta.
#43
I realise this is an old thread but I just thought I'd reply anyway. I bought this car from an auction many moons ago, I'm sure it cost me just over £3000. If my memory serves me it came from the guy that built it it certainly had all the bills & letters from the ad agency / Duckhams. I think the bill for conversion was about £13000. I'm old now & my brain is going but I seem to remember it wasn't a cosworth just a 3-door that had the rear side windows "fiddled" with. When I bought it it had a "breathed on engine" It wasn't a "cossie", I believe it was a Pinto taken to group B spec. I think they used it for promotions at the time.
It had a fair bit of welding dome to it and reminded me of a low cost rally build.
I had it about 3 weeks and sold it before I killed myself. It used to merrily wheel spin away in 2nd if my testosterone isn't decieving me.
I bought it in a South East London auction, I'm not sure how it got there. It was road legal when I bought it and must have given many a road user a surprise.
