I used to see rob driving that xr2 all the time so must have clocked up plenty of miles with out any problems.
Its a long way back up north from here. Theres no guarentee the new owner didn't have the thing wound flat oot all the way up he A14, and thats the reason it melted a piston?
These things are very hard to settle because you never know how the new owner treated the car or what they may have played with after it left your sight.
Somtimes the problem could be just bad luck. Maybe a part breaking that the old and new owner would never thought of checking?

Oh yeh Smit did not work out who you are by himself, he was chatting bout it in the pub last night, it was a combind effort, me, Rob and Skinner helped him out. Lol.

i havnt come on here to slag anybody off
lets just forget what happend in the past the car had now been done properly and handles like a go cart and its got a engine that can be used in anger
am sure it will be around next yr at events and shoot outs
