Default scrap prices??

hi ive got a mk1 td mondeo to weigh in and its full with scrap metal ,i know the price was rock bottom a month ago or so is it any better yet? what do you think id get? cheers adam

its all steel mainly thats thrown in the car apart from a stainless kitchen sink that hardly weighs anything,gone up a little then in the past month id be happy with Ł60-70

I took 4 stainless sinks in and came back with Ł60, worth weighing it in seperatly.

il take it on saturday my mum has owned it from new its done 252k and never let her down engine wise a bit slower than it used to be but started up and went what ever the weather,but failed its mot the other day and i cant be arsed with sorting it in this weather as it looks a bit shabby aswell now as its red/pink,cheers for the info lads

can you not break it? Is it a 2.0 litre zetec as they are fetching 100 quid nowadays

whats ali prices like, i have been collecting all scrap from work, i have ali, steel, dirty ali (ali with steel or rubber in it) or do i hold onto it for longer

hold on to it for longer mate... i would, got a shit load of ally, titanium etc and am gonna wait a little longer.
