as above how many days on ya MOT do you need to have? someone told me 14days.

i bought mine online with 3 days left on my mot although that was about the 14th of the month and my mot ran out on the 17th but i was backdating the tax to the start of that month as it was the first tax since i bought it and had been off road with no tax and no sorn for a couple of months..

only need a valid MOT does not matter if it runs out the next day!

M.O.T has to valid on the 1st (not even on the 2nd) of the month to get a full month. It can't be just the last day of the previous month.
Or valid just on the day you apply if during the month.

confused lol, my MOT is up on the 9th of Jan i think and my tax runs out end of the month so can i get my tax?

Then YES.

You will have 9 days MOT from the start of Jan when the tax will be dated from. It only needs MOT dated 1st Jan to tax for January.
