Default Quick PC Question, prolly something really simple

My internet connectivity is being a bit tempramental. Noticed it on Xbox live, can play for 10 mins then boots me off. Now doing it after about 2-3 mins. Same on PC, will work for 2 mins then not for 2 mins after.

Got wireless, but xbox connected by wire. Modem saying it has ADSL in ok (light stays green) then it will start to flash (think its saying problem) then it will go solid again and I'm ok.

Anybody any ideas?

Unplug the modem and the wireless router for 10 minutes so they reset themselves.....

Right will try that!

Done a re-install with the CD they gave me with it, but didn't turn it off for that long.

Sounds like the router is plugged into an extension lead or has a faulty adsl filter

Yeah but i would try turning the router on and off first, should be a button on the back.
Just rememeber turning it off and resetting are two different things, if you reset you will need to re enter all your username and password info

Cheers guys!

Found that out about the reset, had to do the software install to sort that out!

Just gone and changed all the filters for new ones. Seems ok for now... the acid test will be the xbox!
