Running smaller plug gaps?

What problems could running smaller plug gaps than recomended cause?

Weaken the spark, the bigger the gap it has to jump(within reason) the stronger it will be.

also can dirty plugs cause a misfire?

wrong way round
bigger gap means weaker spark
small gap means stronger spark

small gap will cause poor idle, and will effect fuel economy. this is why coil packs are good, as you can keep a wide gap

I run 0.5mm gaps on IK31 plugs, no misfires, awsome idle, on coilpack with 3ms coiltime.
