Default Paintable Underseal?

Got some hammerite under body seal knocking about, can you paint smoothrite over this?

im not sure about that but i no UPOL brushable sealer can be painted over.

Me either, it drys slightly tacky so wasn't sure. Just checking before I plaster it all over my under caraige

that stuff you have has waxoil in it so wont be good for painting over and will nvr dry rite. Waxoil is horrrible stuff. Depends what ur doing underneath mate. i have just blasted my hole shell back to bare metal. i etch primed it first, used the UPOL brushable seam sealer then stonechipped it and looks like brand new car from the factory. Very happy with it. Get the UPOL brushable sealer mate, its about £15 and really good stuff. Its flexable, u can be paint over it with no problems and looks the same as the sealer as from standad. I have just gone offshore or i would of send u pics of mine.
