when i bought this car in 1992 I didn't really give the reg a second thought. These days the car is known as "Bex" by a lot of showgoing XR2 fans, and being a 2 number plate it even looks like a private reg which it wasn't in 1986 - 25 only came as a private number from 1998 S reg when the DLVA decided to rip even more people off for "cherished" numbers.

My old one left on car wanted MBZ but there were too much for me at the time so got this bargin plate instead looked better than a B plate any way,
and had HIL 8059 on my old 190E cosworth ment nothing to me or the car but wish i had it now to put on my range rover.

yeah both of them paid Ł45 plus fees for MLZ, HIL was on the car when i bought it.
