the world rally cars use them so you know theyre not a bad thing
just cause its got 50/50 dont mean it will understeer it depends on getting the diffs, roll bars and suspension spot on
my old 2.9 tt used to launch like that. on koni springs and dampers the tailpipe used to hit the foor on every run. 5k rpm and dump the clutch, used to get caught at 3/4 track though as it was only 250hp.
my cossie old pipe was like that but was from hiting the deck getting pulled onto recovery truck

ps my sub 3 sec was on 60/40 and road tyres but then i AM a driving GOD

that day the datron was on the car it did 0-60 in 3.017 first run...wasnt running quite right....then i sussed out i had the nos system armed but the bottle wasnt open....so a slight over fuelling problem did 2.94 with the gas on...was only running 25bhp jets that day as we had just started dabbling with the gas..so would have given say approx anothe 50bhp on that engine, so about 575bhp it ran 10.8 1/4 that day at 136 mph IIRC
but yes you are right when it was runing lowish/mid 10s it was prob around 675bhp but unfortunatley never got a chance of having timing gear strapped on when it was at that level

the escos is also doing 10.3 second quaters at brunters on rally tyres like above ^^
will be nice to see it down a proper strip with the wrc spoiler off
