HAHA, i even had a sort sopt for Ray's buick rivera, that was a mint car!!

There is such a think as a wolf/husk cross, i remember seeing it on a tv programme, and i taped it, see if i can dig it out. the wonan was in norway i think?

Only thing that would put me of a husky is thats they are a working dog, and have been told they need lots and lots of activity, i dont think i could give one the time it would deserve (well at the mo anyway).

I love all dogs - its the unconditional love they offer that you cant ignore - they just vary incharacter. Ive had a Staffie - Arnold RIP - he was my boy! a GSD i adopted called Amira and we've now got 2 Spocker spaniels - Maisie and Elvis, wouldnt have been without any of them and if i had the space i'd have more!

We've had 3 rough collies now-great dog very good with children and very loyal

We had one from before I was born he used to missing for a few months every couple of years-

my father bumped into his 'owner' one time when he'd been missing for 4 months and the dog still

knew him-went mental when he saw my da-the dog had turned up in this ladys garden after

being knocked down by a car and she got him healthy again. We had given up on ever seeing him

again by that stage but got him back. He dissapeared a few years ago and was never seen

again.

We had a golden retriever when the second collie was knocked down-on christmas night a few

years ago my sister was young at the time and saw the whole thing , he just shook the choke

chain off and ran straight under a car-but the retriever was way too energetic for the amount

of time we could devote to him an absolute nutter of a dog so he was rehomed when he was

about 18 months and starting to calm down.

We've another rough collie now he's asleep on the couch beside me and thinks I haven't noticed ha

all hsukies and malamutes are decended from wolves.thats why they still have alot of the traits.
the wolf cross breeds arent legal over here. and to be honest alot of people claim thier dogs are half wolf, but 99 per cent arent

huskies do require alot of exercise but are also lazy.
i took mine out yesterday for an hour and a half in the morn and the same again in the afternoon and they didnt move all night though this morning in the frost they were proper on it again. the cold to them is like nitrous

lol, lots if you know not much if you dont.

malamutes are a bigger breed, tend to be quite fluffy.they are more brawny than a huskie.
the malamute dosent have blue eyes, they are all brown.and in general are more aggresive than a husky.(not that huskies cant be)

the husky is an athletic dog with a high stamia(you will never out walk one.they will walk till they die if they have to as its in the breed)
although quite a small dog they are unbeliveably strong and pull like trains(part of why they alays get re-homed)
they also are allowed in their breed standard to have different colour eyes.some are blue, some are brown some have 1 blue 1 brown and some have eyes that are half blue and half brown.this is the only breed allowed to have this at crufts too.

the huskie is more intelligent than the malamute too(not saying they are thick though)and they are total escape artists.if a husky can dig under it will.if it can chew through it will or failing that it will jump a 6ft fence from stood still. as well as being able to open doors! a malamute cant be bothered, unless its easy
they can also smell over 3 miles away

malmutes are easy to train to walk off lead, whereas most huskies are naturally flighty and do a runner.this isnt a big problem if you have one as it classes you as the pack and sticks with you.but more than that and you have issues.

huskies are very freindly with kids, people etc but depending on the dog can be aggressive. avalanche was fine til a boxer started on him.since then he doesnt like dominant stance males.ie staffs, boxers, rotties, etc

and its not nice when they fight! nasty bastids

My favourites are usually gundog varieties - I've recently got my German Shorthaired Pointer and he's really good, obedient, loyal and easy to keep
I have a real appreciation for any dog that can be trained to work well - some are just naturals at it

I would really like some breed of mountain dog like a Leonberger, Pyrenean or St Bernard - just not enough room for one and couldn't be bothered with the grooming or trying to keeping him clean, hence chose the GSP
