Wink Post your cool hot/rat rods (Cool VOLVO, never thought is say that)

Post your favorite hot rod/rat rod pics please.

Im not talking the new wave rat rod stuff like the VW trend stuff, but the good old american metal from the 20's 30's and 40's.

After climbing the Ford "Rs tree", and doing the rounds on the VW's, i've decided to have a short break from cars as a hobby.

Im spending the next 6 months/year planning thinking about what i really want to do next,, if anything.

Only thing which remotley does anything for me nowdays are some of the darker/evil hot rods and that sort of stuff.

Not what i really like, but stumbled across this Volvo and thought it was just too nice not to share. its parked next to another original example!

I really love this a 1937 ford - believe it or not but that is a brand new fiberglass body with "fake" painta

Also love the late 20's 30's sedans and trucks

This the the closest ive come to a rat rod. My 1949 beetle. why did i ever sell it, worth a fortune now!

Not really a massive fan of the older stuff you mention. If I was to have anything it would be a 55 chevy done as a two lane blacktop replica.

Nearly all parts on that volvo were custom made by the guy who built it. The guy who made it won hot rodder of the year for it iirc. Very cool car.
