Not to mention the salt and grime on the roads getting your pride and fithy in a matter of miles. ( for you buftys)![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
But the small matter of trying to keep them on the black stuff is trouble enough.
I took my saff for a little shakedown drive last night after swapping engine, box, ect. over.Went from poole to southsea to visit luke which is only an hour and a bit away.
Shit the bed, with black ice and moisture on the A31/M27 it was trying to swap ends a lot, even at 70mph in 5th it made for a tence drive.![](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/shocked.gif)
Not the best choice of vehicle in such conditions.![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)

I drove mine around the block last night and it was spinning in 2nd and 3rd coming on boost
it's always pointless booting it in 1st but since going to Stu's stage set-up it's been less aggressive coming on boost so it had stopped spinning in 3rd etc, last night it was bloody silly so I gave up

its just more fun/dangerous in this weather
its just the dreaded rust that comes with the road salt that i hate
my old saph was a 420bhp 4x4 and that would spin all 4 wheels at 70 in the rain, made for a couple scary trips
can only imagine what a 2wd must be like with that kinda power

Not at all , rwd cossies are more fun and 4wd one are more useable.
I love the hooligan aspects of 2wd ,but as soon as Im in a suitable position to get an escos i will and it will stay 4wd.
But in this weather its just dangerous.
Normal temps wet or dry its fun to plant it and snake up the road , but in this weather as I said in the first post it just wants to swap ends at high speed. Thats not fun.
