None of my business either but
I think its only fair if people offer advice / help / contacts to others for free, in return for the occasional advert / sales / swop post etc then thats seems to be a fine workable solution.
So im my own view its a ratio thing.
Not sure about Jano as I didn't read many of his posts but maybe he's crossed the line somewhere ????? Sure I too am guilty of some of the above
but try to balance it more towards offers of help and advice than anything to do with sales.
I hope its only temporary ban as I believe everyone has valuable input on here

Maybe all sigs with links to tuners, companies etc shoud be stopped or limited in someway to what you can and can't have if you are a non-paying trader or trying to support a non-paying trader.

Would it not be a good idea to stop ALL posting of Ebay links for stuff for sale unless they are in the correct section! If i recall correctly that is what Jano did but this goes on all the time

links to the company and company names etc isnt advertising as such its more PR. IMHO.
karl should of really paid the gold member fee also IMO, but he had his reasons why not and to be fair... if it was a case of put up or shut up he'd fook off im sure.
jano should be allowed back on if he apologies and agrees not to do it again.
blatant advertising of parts and services when everyone else is paying takes the pi55.
