Unless your a long standing advertiser, then you tend to be up to the front.

Had to happen, huge site now, only makes sense that they charge.

 

ive just tried to put a car on and it hasnt changed for me ?

i get premium adverts and it says free to your member id

 

I just had my car on there and it cost a very reasonable Ł7 and got a lot of emails

It is good value, but I still done the free option and will pay for autotrader tomorrow

 

as 999 says, if you have been selling cars for a long time on there, then you seem to get premium ads for free.

I always put "sold via pistonheads' when they sell,helps the site, to be fair, it is a good place to shift a car, usually sold mines in around a week, depending on what it was.

 

in some respect i agree but only something special, bread and butter cars do shit on there not worth the effort, but if i had a scoob cossie evo etc then yes id contemplate paying of the price was right for the length of advert, they have to tread carefully i think

 

999 agree mate, it does seem that it is a site that people into cars use, NOT the average person who is after an 04 corsa 1.2 for example.

If you have something a little tasty then it is a great first step to selling.
