who's got the new iphone G3??

I don't own one but I use one on a regular basis, and my advice is don't bother! Go for a nokia n96, a MUCH better phone imo.

 

think its a proper good phone mate i love mine lol

i love mine to. Basic as a phone but as a media device its amazing.

I've had mine a week now and I'm really impressed with it

It's the web browsing that makes it for me, I had a blackberry that I occationally used for web browsing, but I'm using the iphone so much more!

i really love mine. it does everything i need from a phone and a web browser

 

there ok but not as good as they shud be. I'm on my 3rd one now but never had a problem getting it replaced etc

Also saves contacts, and the buttons are big. What more do you want?

 

I use to have an iphone, but didn't like it that much so went and got one of these sony erricsson X1 little pocket pc





But i see Nokia are bringing out a 5800 touch screen to keep up with the iphone

 

do you mean iPhone 3G? been out for ages...

I've got a 2G iPhone cos I want to use it on T-Mobile, but I love mine and doubt I could go back to a "regular" phone now...

 

It's not really a gripe, just an observation. It does everything i want.

however it doesn't do mms, sending or receiving and you can't forward messages, hence my 'basic as a phone' comment. Justified i'm sure you'll agree.

i'm not hating the iphone, i love mine and can't see me having a 'normal' one again.

you can send and receive MMS if you jailbreak it, not sure about forwarding messages though.

 

Yea, you're right about the mms thing, i'm not sure on forwarding either.

Shame apple wont just add it really.

 

There are a few apps that cater for SMS forwarding. BiteSMS, MySMS are a couple...

And to all those that want Apple to add/change things - don't bitch about them on a forum that nobody from Apple will ever read - instead why not tell them directly?

i like mine, not the easiest phone ive got but great features, love the txt messages
coming up as a conversation...... loads great apps aswell

got it on orange aswell now so even better,.....
