its still a touchy subject, he cost me over a thousand quid to repair his shoddy work. the fact that he is a pleasant enough old man is all that saved him. it would be a liberty to do what id normally do.

 

I sold a rs500 bonnet to him a couple of year ago and he said he was building a e30 cossie, i remember this as my mate had one, and i can remember talking to him about it. He was going on about the prop and how only he could make it.
He also mentioned his 1200bhp skyline

 

A friends of mine got a wheel refurbed off of him about a year ago, when he droped off the wheel, the guy took his name and number on a postit pad, and then said he would phone him whe its done

Well 3 months later me and him go over to his place as he never heard from the guy again, when wee walked in and asked about the wheel he goes and gets it and says that he lost his contact details ect ect.

So i started asking him about his escort, and Fuzzy you are right he is a nice guy to talk too.

Anyway he goes right out his way too tell me about his escort and all the parts on it,he then pulls out a Sweedish style inlet to witch it goes on about how he welded a bmw 840 throttle body (im sure he said 840i) but he says that it was hard to weld as it had really crap cast alloy

He then goes on about how his exhaust manifold can take 800hp, it fucking looked like bent scafolding solderd together

He then goes on about some machine that puts hardends Valve seats in or something and that was costing him

ah, the wobbly vibrating prop that i had top have rebuild by propshaft services near falkirk after destroying 3 prop centre bearings in a couple of months
that is my e30 he was referring to. quoted me 2 weeks , took him 17 weeks iirc. i was at the point of going down to sieze it back after seeking proper legal trading standards advice to avoid me ending up in the cells if possible. was heading down on the saturday when my right hand man had his day off and by chance he phoned on the thursday before to say it was ready.

 

Na he never said anything like that, just pulled it out his boot and showed me it, the said he welded the bmw throttle body onto it and 8 injectors and all that, looked quite nice i thought

I sold my own Esc Cos for £35,000 in April of this year. Was it worth that? Dunno. But I got that amount of money!! Off a very rich guy!

Is this thing on ebay worth it? Id say definitely not. Not in this climate anyway!!

Only a handful of UK Esc Cos's would command that amount of money (Yum and Martins etc) but this this thing is clearly not one of them!

How much is it up for now? Lol.

 

Ian thing is this guy is claiming 800 bhp he isnt a big tuner & i have personally seen this car go ( & it dosent go very well for the claimed 800 bhp) it should be as fast as andrews focus in theory (andrew's car 670 bhp) & this car meant to be 800bhp the difference in bhp & weight should maybe even out in a straight line.but it goes like a stage 3 car when its going than is.No where near as quick as andrew or charlie(charlie 570 bhp) To et 800 bhp out a cosworth isnt easy & your claim would need to be proven this guy is just a pure chancer although i think he beleives his own shite talk.The whole point of this thread is just to point out that this car is a fake

Im not an Ebay whore so am not too jenned up on it but if a guy says a car is 800bhp and you buy it and it turns out so be say only 550bhp, can you make the guy give you back your money? Or is it just a case of you getting tooled up and going round and firing up his house etc after breaking both his kneecaps?

Because surely this bloke is on drugs if he really believes his car made 800bhp....unless of course it was rollered at Engine Advantages!!

Im not big on ebay either but im sure you cant leave negitive feedback now & how would you have any come back on a private sale (not sure if there is any when you discover the car aint all that) But anyone that knows cosworths & goes to veiw this car will smell a rat straight away! im well informed that the bids on the car is to max 85 grand but is not me thats bidding.before i brought this thread to light im sure it had a few bids that totalled 8 grand.He would be best breaking this car so he dosent make a fool of hiself anymore.
