I just got home from Newcastle in mine,bought it off ebay last sat
and flew up today and drove it home,awesome daily driver imo
mines a 2001 tdi 130 se,silver estate. all std for now lol
goes and drives A1 ! ! very impressed ! ! !
nice merc wheels tiff,fit straight on ?
what size are they 18"s ???

The merc rims need longer bolts....but i have done a stud conversion on it for Ł40......Also need spigot rings from 66.6 to 57.1 to keep the rims central

mark i know a good place that will sort that wheel problem out !!!
its where shorty lives,,,,,,, take the car to pool and they will sort them wheels out for ya no problem,,,,,, or even better manchester and you can use the insurance money to buy another car

EXACTLY what i am going to do....slightly darken the rims and MAYBE get the edge polished up....not to sure on that bit as they always get all pitted and look shit. Probably paint the whole rim the same

They are VERY well known in the VW scene and are up the road from me
They give you a dyno run before and after with printout of figures...... Ł275 + Vat
