Quicky

Will a chip that's mapped for low comp work on a engine that's has the same turbo, injectors etc just diff comp ratio ????

It wont be right - your CR will effect the amount/rate of energy released into the exh and so effect the way your turbo spools....

Its mainly your ignition timing that changes with CR changes... roughly speaking.

actually saying that id imagine it would as when chip was mapping mine the the compression ratio affected what ignition timimg or something he could give the engine i think

Will run quite well.

Spark table will be wrong as would the fuel but to a much lesser extent.

How wrong the tables will be depends on which way you went. Goin higher CR would usually be deadly.

DONT drive it then if the map is for lower CR than you have.

if the chip is low comp, and your engine is std, then bin it!

It might be that you can get it to run safely using the octane wires by the way, if this is for an L8 or other ecu that has them, but its still going to be far from ideal.

No problem it was a chip in an ECU interested in buying and this was the only factor that was different from my spec.
