What sort of price is it to get it done?

 

£200 to do my Skoda.....Dark at the back and light on the front side windows

 

That sounds better than what I've just been quoted:-

all round (bar front screen) windows behind driver
BMW 5 series saloon *£330 + vat £245 + vat
Subaru Impreza *£280 + vat £230 + vat

 

I was quoted circa £200 to do my A4 about 4 months back by a local place

 

i would say around £200 max for an impreza saloon for example.there is only 3 windows that can legally be tinted..even £200 is expensive for that car tho...on the side i would do that for about £100 with tint bought by customer...your best bet (if you have the front) would be to see one of the lads in a tint company if he would be interested in a bit of work on the side.

 

I thought they were a bit pricey They also want the car dropped off one morning then to pick it up 48 hours after. That ain't going to happen for starters!

 

48 hours?! christ thats a piss take.... most places dont even take the glass out to tint them! for someone that is a "pro" and does it day in day out i say it would take 1 hour per side window and 2 for rear screen max...if it takes 48 hours it should be a PERFECT job altho for £200 it should be anyway
