Just interested to know what tuners out there map efi

I hear a lot of people can't / won't map efi Is this true? If so why don't tuners want to map efi

The hardware to map OEM efi stuff is extremely expensive and will stand you at over £30K to correctly and successfully map most of todays OEM EFI systems due to the security added in by teh manufacturer to safeguard his systems and teh engine.

Cossie stuff was tailored years ago to be done with very simple idiotproof dos software and thus, everyone and his dog has a copy of the Pectel IEMS software.. lol

 

30k But you for one have all the tricks am i right stu?

So would you say its worth shelling out 30k for do you get a lot of efi cars to map these days?

Well, weve done 2 diesels today at £500 each. You tell me

When i say EFI Im talking of all the different types though, not just Ford EEC. Bosch, siemens, lucas, honda, Mitsubishi ect etc etc...

Its only Cossie and aftermarket ECU's that are childs play.. the rest of the world is tricky at best.. lol

Yes alex's car is there at the mo well was but we got to pick it up then take it back as they now have no room to do it at the moment

As i said to alex lots of people recomend you and would be good to see what sort of magic you can work Its just the distance But i got good AA membership lol Plus its my car Im likeing to be different, try new things lol
