Default engine for sale on ebay what do you think

hi there ppl i have a 3door cosworth iv just removed the 75 k engine an was gona rebuild it but iv seen this on ebay what do u think any good or would i just be risking it .if i was gonna have it i was gonna sell me 75 k engine and maybe get this one

i think its risky buying an engine from someone you dont know or trust....

who knows the history of that engine?
who knows its built well?

i would either build my own, or choose a tuner you know and trust to build it for you

i think graham c means if u spend that kinda money on your engine you'll prob get a better spec out of it.. (i think).

i built my 400 horse engine 4 just over 3 grand with mappin so just build your own

thats a damm cheap engine for whats ben done to it
head £600
Block £500
Crank £400
rods £150

£1650 just in bare pasrts alone,never mind the long stud conversion,the new pistons which would have been at least £400,plus shells and oil pump,then gaskets dont forget labour
you couldnt build it for that money

what i was thinking ,,, if i bought it ,, it would be dismantle and re build it to make sure its put together corectly,, but the parts list sound fine

i thought it was cheap my self . i was thinking sell my engine to get some cash twards this one and then rebuild it again or should i just rebuild my original engine and find the money for the parts to build the orginal engine . sorry if my messages confuse ppl im not good wid sentences ant that lol

i best get stickin it on ebay pmsl the only thing is i hate putting stuff on ebay . i dont now if the headgaskit has gone the car always ran fine when i had it never missed a beat always had power just puffed a bit of black smoke out .the only thing was the last few times i drove it it was playing up everytime i put me foot down i got to bout 3k it would lose power backfire and id have a big boost in power and it would go like stink i dont no if thats telling me the headgasket has gone but when i took the engine out on sat i found rusty water residu just under the headgasket on turbo side .
