Default any vw technicians on here?

my 2003 lt35 109 strippied the teeth off the cambelt last nite,anyone have any info on checking the timing?

what belt?
front driving the cam from crank or the rear 1 from cam to pump
obviously you will know if its just the pump belt it wont do any damage
but if your lucks like mine then its the front belt

my engine hasnt got them timing marks on,the bottom pulley is sort of dual mass,it has a rubber section in the middle.

thanks for that though so far.any different engine options on that year?

its the front belt,was still running when we switched it off,the tensioner pulley has brocken inside and this sliced about half the teeth off the belt.

not good mate
seen a couple of broken belts on these and everytime they've bent valves,
i'll have a check in work tomorrow for any other engine options and pm you if nobody else says anyfin tonight
