Someone mentioned to me that he was, and ICBA to google it when Stu or someone will know the answer, so just wondered if that was true?

Pretty reasonable endorsement I guess if he is! (not that I think Evolution Chips particuarly need one, lol)

TBASE is the only tuning book ive ever actually read properly, normally do it the dumb way and just figure stuff out for myself

He is old, lives in Long Beach, California, where his business is, doing mostly yank V8 stuff these days, has a nice daughter though!!.

He is a legend of a bloke from the days when you had to have a lot more knowldge than how to fit a bleed valve to a Renault 5 turbo before you could open up a unit and call yourself a performance tuning expert. Read his books on the pinto or the A series engines and you will learn a lot more than reading Max Power for the next hundred years LOL.
