Default parking ticket laws?

ive been arguing an illegally issued parking ticket for a while now as i was NEVER issued with a ticket and the attendant claims he put it on my windscreen and i knew too well he hadnt as i see him and he walked off without issuing one. I'd requested photos of the ticket on my screen as proof it was issued which they failed to produce, i asked again and they failed requesting the payment or appeal again which will go to the main parking office. Im going to appeal again as its illegally issued but would like advice or knowledgable info in regards to the law on this to use in my letter? cheers

I'm not sure on the law; however, I have had many parking fines and I have not paid any of them. The council have, everytime, sold my Debt on to a Bailliff Company. They then come to my door, I tell them to go away and that is the end of the matter. Do not worry, is my advice.

were you illegally parked?? all depends on what info they hold on you. If theyve no proof such as a photo then they cant do you on his word alone. Thats why they take photos these days.

Was it council or private company??? Look on consumer forums as theres loads of info on avoiding parking tickets.

Traffic wardens are the scum of the earth! same goes for the clampers!!

I used to work on the railway back in the days of clamping, the clampers would come round and get out a hair dryer plug it into the cigar lighter and heat up the sticky part of tickets on peoples windows, the ticket would then fall out leaving the clamper to afix a clamp and collect the sixty pound fine which he would more than likel pocket.

they're all wankers!!!

oh and unless they have a photo, they cant do dick to you!

Theres a book i bought called "The Drivers Handbook". It got me off a couple tickets, more than paid for its self

Good Luck

It's " the drivers survival handbook", written by an ex cop, very good book, a lot of lines are illegal so I would check this too, also the size of the bay(if bayed) etc.
