i was coming back from doing all my drop's for work today
and was taking my time doing 50 mph as there was no rush to get back.

on my way back i was approching a bend but it is what i say a fast bend. when i was just coming round the bend an artic lorry was coming toward's me on his side of the road but to my horror some dickhead in a mondeo was overtaking the lorry and was coming towards me at high speed there was only a grass verge for me to go up on, i put my foot on the brake and then locked up but i ended up going of the road and up the grass verge the engine died on me but i did get it going again. it was so close it left me shaking if i didnt go of the road god know's where i would be now.

this road thats not far from where i live are very bad for accident's this road has been closed load's of time's due to horrific accident's, just 3 week's ago there was a horrific accident that happend at 4:30 am in
the morning and it left the road closed for 11 hour's. it was a small van and an artic lorry that hit each other head on.

mate from school, was driving home from a cruise in bournemouth one night, his mate had bent a valve and didnt know the way home

he was in a nova doing 20mph round a bend when a dick driving a mondeo (with wife and 2 kids) came round on his side of road and hit pretty much head on, and pushed his car 30 foot backwards up the verge, through a wall, then came to rest.

mondeo was said to be doing approx 90-100mph, mates missus who was 6 months pregnent had to have an emergency cesarin (sp) and the kid is brain damaged.

insurance paid out fook all cos he was only tpft, even though it weas clearly not his fault and kid is suffering big time

sorry to hear about your mate fudgeass ive lost a few due to accident's that wasnt even there fault

kev it's the the main coast line road that you would take heading from newtown to carno. im on this road 4 time's a day and i know where all the accident black spot's are

i had one like this i was coming around a bend onto a straight and there was a car over taken i locked up and so did he i hit the kerb as i had no were to go and fucked a wheel but it was still driverable i turn around and chased the fooker up the road bloked 2 cars at a brige as it was light controlled and got out ,

and all the block could say was im late for work when i whent home i stoped and looked were the sid marks were and there was about 1 to 2 car lenths

SOme folks jsut shouldnt have a license. Overtaking on blind bends is jsut insane.
I once came round a corner to find 2 transit vans racing and one on my side coming straight at me. Luckily once I swerved into the edge of the hedge the road was jsut wide enough to allow all 3 to squeeze through - left me with shaking hands!

i had a bit of a shit me up experience a few years back, was driving the ex back home from my house when a blue nova came fookin flying out of a road 45 degrees to our road coming straight for us, it was so close i could see there eyes as they went past

dropped her off and calmed her down then set back home the same way, normally i go back a different way, get to a roundabout with a train bridge after it not far from where we nearly crashed and theres police cars, ambulances and fire engines everywhere, road closed with a police woman stood gaurd

nova was on its roof with all 4 occupants dead. told the police id just seen the car had to give statements and everything apparently me and the ex was the last ones to see them allive

everyone takes life for granted but its things like me and also whats happened above to show that it can be took away just like that

Slightly different but someone told me that in Germany if you fail your on your 3rd attempt you're never allowed to drive. I have to say I agree with that. SOme folks jsut dont have very good awareness and hand to eye coordination.

it's getting worse on the road's now i do 200 mile a day and the thing's i see well you really dont want to know.

i was saying about the road's being bad for accident's well today on this road was a lorry down a small bank.

i expect at some point or another most of us had a "near miss" ive had a few, one or 2 my fault, but i have never overtaken round a blind bend before, there are somethings that just dont seem a good idea.
