Default turbo advice, t34 on zvh

im currently running a standard t3 on my charge cooled 1800 zvh but fancy something with a bit more of a kick.

i find the t3 on it now to be very responsive, with it starting to come on boost at just over 2000rpm, its no more laggy than my mates hybrid t2 on her cvh. i use the car everyday and only run 15psi through it max, the main issue being though is that i dont want loads and loads of lag.

im slightly limited on space, as you can see here....

a t34 may not fit as the current hose to the air filter is 1mm from the rad, but i may be around that.

who has run a t34 on a cvh or zvh before and what were your thoughts? what were they like for lag? and what sort of revs were they on full boost at?

other question being what are the likes of a stage 1 or stage 2 hybrid t3 like for lag? that would probably be the easier option as i know it will fit, but same questions as above, what are they like for lag and what sort of revs were they on full boost at?

any help much apprechiated,

thanks,

ben.

i had a turbo technics t34 on my series 2, at first it was on the 1600 which i found

pretty much un driveable unless i was spanking the arse out of it due to serious lag,

i then had it on my 2.1 zvh and was seriously impressed almost no lag, cant

remember when it came in exactly but it was early. it made 250 wit nearly 300 lbs/ft

@18 psi

never used 1 on a zvh
but tried 1 on a 1600 rst, was useless unless it was flat out, very laggy
but the extra 200cc might make a diff

Have run one on a 2.1 ZVH and didn't like the lag, it wasn't terrible but just enough to bomb a bit between some gear changes Was only running 12psi peak though....

A stage 3 T3 would be better for the 1800 as said, no lag whatsoever....
