Default Gas Bills

I had interim Gas Payment Review arrive yesterday and they want to more than DOUBLE my payment

In the same letter it states im £97.73p in credit.

Another thing is my payments went up 50% 2 months ago as well.

Can't wait to have a chat on the phone in the morning

Anybody else had such good service ?

Steve.

Same as my letter states my DD will automatically change to the new payment next month.

I don't think it will

We had the same letter last month trying to double our bill but we were in credit by quite a bit, the Mrs phoned them up & gave them an ear bashing. We are still paying the old amount until we start owing them money, cheeky bastards !

so doubling your payment after another 50% increase means your payments are now 3 times what they were 2 months ago?

Yep, they guy read our meter about 2 weeks back and he bill came in for gas and electric at £1100 for the last 6 months(plus underpayment)

I couldn't work out why the gas was £400 odd when we don't realy use it much, until I eventually checked the meter and the bloody reading was 300units less than stated on the bill, so 400 used on the bill instead of 100 used

They were telling us our monthly bill would be £200. I don't think so

they got some grief from me the other day when they said there was £200 oweing to them

i told them to find out when and where payments had ben made and then get back to me

it seems that they had "mislaid" the £160 that had been paid in january, cunts

I had a shock bill once, £189.00 in debit ! ...... Had to pay £75 a month to get it back in credit.

So now every two weeks i put my own meter readings in online, and guess what i am always in credit, funny that !!!.

I have also reduced my payments too..

This estimate reding nonsense it ridculous, you have a high usesage one month and they think thats it, lets up the bill ! .

British gas have just put our gas bill to £99 per month from £60 a month and we are in Credit by £117 wife phoned them to see why it had gone up as she had capped the bill the week before and they had not took that in to consideration so reduced it to £87. How can it go up if you are in credit by so much as obviously we are paying to much as we are in credit. Anyway put a wood burner in the house last week and are now putting our readings in online every 2 weeks so hopefully the bill will come down.

they can't without you writing to the bank manager and changing the ammount

but they CAN change your supplier without asking you or getting any sort of written consent, which is why my bill was in debit by so much as n power had decided that by talking to me over the phone that gave them permission to provide me with gas and electricity, to the tune of £160 in total for december and january

i very politly told them to go fuck themselves when they sent some henchmen around to take payment, quickly followed by a call to the police and their complaints department threatening them with legal proccedings (i'm sure i put up a post up about this somewhere)

they need to get your written permission to take any more money out of your account than they are allowed to
