Hi all
The rear discs on my focus squeal like buggery. I have tried removing the pads, cleaning them and the calipers up and refitting but it hasn't cured it. They seem to squeal under light braking pressure, but if you press the pedal harder it doesn't squeal. I have only owned the car a few months, and the pads and discs have plenty of meat on them.
Anyone have any idea of how i can cure it before it sends me mad?
Cheers
Rich

I did put a small bit of copper slip on, didn't help at all tho, maybe i didnt put enough on? I will try putting a chamfer on the front of the pads, see if it helps.
Thanks!
Thanks!
squeaky brakes are a common problem on the focus st170 like the flickering dash the girlfriend has just had her pads changed and they dont squeak anymore i'll find out who they are made by for ya but i would also suggest using some copper grease
