Default Squealing brakes

Hi all

The rear discs on my focus squeal like buggery. I have tried removing the pads, cleaning them and the calipers up and refitting but it hasn't cured it. They seem to squeal under light braking pressure, but if you press the pedal harder it doesn't squeal. I have only owned the car a few months, and the pads and discs have plenty of meat on them.

Anyone have any idea of how i can cure it before it sends me mad?

Cheers

Rich

have you put some copper grease on the back of the pads? also filing a slight shamfer on the leading edge can help

I did put a small bit of copper slip on, didn't help at all tho, maybe i didnt put enough on? I will try putting a chamfer on the front of the pads, see if it helps.

Thanks!
